Prior to AMRU Consulting Amardeep led a number of legal projects from Compliance matters to Mergers & Acquisitions / Re-Organisation projects.  One such matter was for a Global electronics company that was looking to move its legal registered address to another jurisdiction.

This required discussions with the authorities across every jurisdiction in Europe, co-ordinating the registration of new branches and obtaining new VAT and Corporate registrations. Amar used the technology available to ensure the team were able to keep track on which jurisdictions had received all of the required information and which had not. This meant the problematic areas could be prioritised in the weekly meetings.

Due to the size and nature this project was broken down into multiple worksteams and these were managed as separate matters. Part of the role that Amardeep led was also to ensure that the work packages were completed and billed on time so that the client was able to manage its finances. Amar excelled in his diplomacy and in raising when work was out of scope ensuring this was flagged to all parties and arrangements on a way forward could be agreed.
